We sometimes ask ourselves, why
do we long or want to be beautiful? Research shows that the person’s perception
that beauty leads to positive and life fulfillment is what is referred to as
the Pygmalion Effect. When you are born to be beautiful, it is usually linked
to being likeable. People like beautiful individuals, and we even treat them
better compared to others. When one is born to be beautiful, the benefits of it
start immediately after birth. The child gets the compliment from others that
she or he is beautiful. From there on, as the child goes to school, she or he
perceives the feeling of being loved and liked by others. This can be seen by
getting good grades, plus, able to get attention to his or her classmates and
even teachers.

We tend to believe that beautiful
individuals are smarter, healthier, funnier, and more talented. A person
regarded us such with beauty, tends to act on it and fulfill those expectations.
A person who is always regarded by such will most likely be smarter and more
talented. They get positive outlooks in life, which is a good attitude to
posses. But what if we are not blessed with beauty? Should we say that we are
dumb? Absolutely, not!
We can be more attractive and
beautiful if we smile. A genuine smile will find time, age, race, culture,
religion and politics reachable. If one always smiles, the world will be filled
with fun for him or her. Clothing has a big impact on how we perceived the
person as beautiful. The clothes we were simple depicts respect. Wear clothes
that fit the occasion. Wear it with confidence. Wear clothes that are clean.
These are all simple, right? The type of clothes you wear will surely gain
respect. When you wear proper clothes, you get respected not because you are
beautiful, but because you are worth to be respected. A good example of
boasting confidence is by looking into the mirror. Take some time to look
yourself and foresee how you will look in the eyes of others.
